What does Sawyer love most about nature?

Learning about animals, birds and the ecology of the world. Sawyer is a STEM focused kid that enjoys hands on learning. We enjoy going on hikes where we can explore the local landscape, skipping rocks and collecting trinkets along the way. The kids love the Krat Brothers, Jeff Corwin and other educational personalities.

What is Sawyer's favorite animal—and why?

Pangolin: Sawyer (6 years old)… is fascinated by how strong this animal is. How little is know about them. Pangolins are strong with their thick armor of Keratin. Sawyer strives for confidence while showing he’s strong and sturdy. Sawyer can tell you all about this animal and what makes them so special.

What is Sawyer's favorite outdoor activity?

Hiking, biking and camping. Sawyer is in cub scouts. He was just promoted to a Tiger. He enjoys lots of fun activities with field trip groups and other nature groups. We have several activity groups with our local biodiversity center and cohorts.
