Learn moreWhat i most like about nature is that when I get overwhelmed with social moments and feelings, I can go for a walk in my parents back woods and feel better. Its quite and I can go talk to the birds and animals. I find nature helps redirect me from feeling frustrated. Like finding cool butterflies and beetles.
The white tail deer is my favorite animal but turkeysare a close second!! Deer have unique antlers that can get up to 10+ points on them! They can jump high and they like eating pumpkins and corn. My grandpa is a farmer and he brings me huge antler sheds that he finds in the spring when planting corn. I'm always looking out the car to see if I spot a herd of deer. I've counted up to 15+ by our house one time. Turkeys are also so fun to watch for in the fields with their beautiful feathers!
Everything!! I like to go catfish on the Mississippi River with Papa and neighbor Bob. Walking in the woods is also fun! I like to see if i can find fresh animal tracks like raccoons or deer prints. I also love hanging out with our pet turkeys, chickens, ducks and pigs. I collect the eggs and see if everyone is happy. I also like hunting for rocks and fossils on the Mississippi River.
