Receive Text UpdatesShe loves the beauty and uniqueness of each insect, reptile, and animal that she gets to learn about. She is always pointing out their colors, the way they walk or eat, and just everything that she can take in based on observation or facts she has already learned. She always wants to know everything there is to know when seeing new insects or animals.
Her favorite animal is a butterfly because they come in such a variety of colors and sizes. Every time she sees one she will point out the colors and then will rattle off every fact that she has learned about butterflies. In her classroom they got to watch the process of caterpillars changing into butterflies and she was in awe at the whole thing.
My daughter loves to simply play in the sand or dirt, swinging, or catching frogs, toads, and lizards. My parents have a pool so there are always tree frogs around and she loves their unique colors and toes. We have many brown, black, and green lizards that she loves holding and watching how fast they can run.
