Learn moreRyker loves finding a shiny rock to add to his collection, examining a slimy little salamander (or any other little critter) and having fun playing in the creeks and lakes around us with his little sister. Hes not scared of snakes or creepy crawlies, in fact he just want to hold and love them. He thinks worms are pets and he loves fishing (catch and release) and getting down and dirty while playing in the mud. He's a true outdoorsman in the making.
Rykers favorite animal is a crocodile. "Because of the color and the big sharp teeth!" He said, as he played with a small toy crocodile in the back yard. Ryker has been interested in crocs and gators since he was a toddler and he wants to go to Florida some day for a 'Florida fishing trip'. One of his favorite outdoor vloggers is based in Florida and I think that's where he got the obsession with Florida wildlife.
Ryker has many outdoor hobbies, from riding his go-kart, going on mushroom hunts or feeding and spending time with his pet chickens (all 31 of them) but he says his favorite hobby lately is fishing! We go fishing almost every day around here and he's even got mom back into casting a rod and fishing for those "pond monsters" and "big ole' hogs" .. as Ryker would call them. Ryker comes from a family of avid hunters and hopes to get out in the woods next deer season as well.
