Receive Text UpdatesRemington loves the endless wonders you can discover in nature! There is always something new to see and investigate when you’re outside. His favorite aspects of nature include breathing in the fresh air, the freedom to be his rambunctious self, and being surrounded by the beautiful scenery of our state.
Remingtons favorite animal is the Immortal Jellyfish! It’s his favorite because it’s immortal of course! He came across the Immortal Jellyfish in one of his natural science books and was instantly obsessed! Not only can it yo-yo back forth from a polyp (baby) to an adult but it also has over 90 tentacles!
Remingtons all time favorite outdoor activity is swimming in the rivers and lakes all around the state. We call him our little fish! During the summer we make a bucket list of the coolest lakes to travel to in Washington State. He also loves kayaking, rockhounding for agates and geodes, foraging for mushrooms and edible plants, exploring geological caves, hiking under waterfalls, fishing,camping in State and National Parks, catching tadpoles, and of course roasting marshmallows over a campfire!
