Reed lives for adventure in the Colorado wilderness. He just recently travelled to Thailand where he snorkeled in the ocean and saw sharks!
Thank you for generously supporting Reed in this year’s competition. Your participation helps empower the National Wildlife Federation in their mission to protect wildlife, restore habitats, and inspire the next generation of conservationists.
Reed loves to wander in nature. It’s always an opportunity to find new things and see animals in their natural habitat. Discovering new places and seeing new scenery is something he does often with his mom who is a volunteer park patroller.
Reed loves hamsters because they’re cute, and it’s fun to watch them scurry around. He also loves dogs and helps his mom who watches other people’s dogs here at our house. We also have six chickens who he helped take care of when they were little chicks. He named all of them and helps collects their eggs.
Reed loves to go hiking in Staunton State Park, which is near our house. He likes to hike the trails, go camping, and catch lots of lake trout. It’s also a great opportunity to find different types of rocks that he brings home and puts on his bookcase.
