Learn moreTrees, is what he said when I asked him this question. It's easy for him to equate trees as his favorite thing, when stepping into the forest puts him at ease and such an astonishing way. We live in the woods in northern Maine, and on our Homestead he is the most anxious to identify plants and trees as we meander through our woods. He loves to fish our stream and follow animal tracks, winter or summer, wondering where or why an animal was there, what it might have been doing, etc.
Red fox... it's color is beautiful, their tail is big and amazing.... they eat our birds if they get hungry, but usually they leave them alone and just live quietly in the woods. If we see them, they go away fast, but they are so cool to watch for the few seconds they allow themselves to be seen!
Riding the 4wheeler so we can see more of the outdoors and wild forests than most people ever get to. It is very lucky that our state has so many trails and we can get to places that are so remote and incredible.
