Receive Text Updates“Finding Stuff” We recently moved to North Carolina for the outdoor lifestyle, and he’s in absolute heaven here. Nearly every day, he’s out flipping rocks in the yard or wading through the stream with his net in hand. He even crafted his own minnow trap out of an old olive oil container(patent pending, probably). After a year of sitting in the stream, he was so proud when he finally caught some tadpoles in it—proof that his patience and persistence had paid off.
Absolutely! Here's how it might sound coming from a 6-year-old: --- Frogs. There’s so many kinds! Some are green, some are brown, and some have spots. I like finding them because it’s like a game, and they’re really fast so you gotta be faster. Sometimes they jump and some pee on you. And you can even eat some of them! For real!
Playing! Prescott’s outside all the time. He loves to play with his dogs, runs around the yard exploring, and swims like a fish. When we go to the lake, he already has a line in the water before breakfast. It’s rare to look on the dock and not see him with a pole. If you ever get lost in the woods, you totally want Prescott with you. He knows stuff! Like where the frogs are, what poison ivy looks like, what snakes are poisonous and which sticks make the best swords.
