Phoebe likes the sounds of nature, for example how the grass swaying in the wind sounds like the waves at the beach and it's really calming for her. She likes when the birds chirp especially when they wake her up in the morning. She likes the feeling of the water when she dips her hand in a creek and how it washes the dirt off her hands. She likes smelling the flowers because each one has its own smell and they smell very pretty. She likes seeing the sun because it's her 3rd favorite color.

Phoebe's favorite animal is the deer because they are always in our front and back yards. She likes that she can see them prancing from our window, or when walking or driving in the car. She'll see "one mommy deer and one daddy deer and sometimes teenager deer or a baby deer", and when they're crossing the street the older deer watch out for the babies so they don't get hurt. She likes that all the deer look different, in particular how the males have antlers and the females don't.

Phoebe's favorite outdoor activities are hiking and swimming. You get to see everything in nature when you are outside, like trees and bushes and grass. She likes how she sees something new every time she hikes and learns different facts about certain things from the nature expert or field guide. For example, how some snakes can be venomous and how other snakes are not venomous but they still bite! She likes swimming especially when she floats on her back because that is also calming.
