Receive Text UpdatesPenny loves to explore and will happily wake up extra early or stay up extra late to see cool things in nature like migrating orcas and frogs that come out after dark, and the Northern Lights. She especially loves to see what is hiding underneath rocks in creeks and rivers like crawfish and the starfish revealed when the tide goes out.
Penny's favorite animal is the snake. She loves the huge variety of colors and patterns in their scales. She also thinks it is cool that they can eat animals that seem like they would be too big for their bodies, like the river snake she once encountered in the middle of swallowing a crawfish. Her favorite snake experience was having a python hung around her neck at a reptile show.
Penny's favorite outdoor activity is looking for animals while playing in the water, and she is especially good at finding and catching tadpoles and frogs. She has even seen preserved dinosaur footprints on a remote island in Korea! She lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest where there is always a new body of water to discover and explore.
