Each and every "expedition" is a new opportunity for her to meet a new living creature, whether it be an insect, a lizard, a sea turtle, a snail, a deer crossing the road, a humming bird in our back yard, or a gigantic Sequoia tree at a national forest. P loves to walk through nature trails with her trusty binoculars, magnifying glass, walking stick, and canteen. That is her real home, where she feels so close to God. Creatures are her BFFs 💚
Penelope's favorite animal is the Penguin. She loves the adorable way penguins stay with their mates and care for them for life! She has visited them at various zoos, including The San Diego Zoo. When P went to Thailand in October 2024, she visited an island called Pattaya which she traveled to from the mainland on a motor boat, and saw wildlife everywhere! In January of 2023, at Oahu, she swam at their famous coral reefs with fish 🐟 and sea life. Later, on a bay cruise, she met dolphins🐬🙂!
Penelope's favorite outdoor activity is visiting tide pools at various California beaches (especially Laguna) and snorkeling in the waters of the Hawaiian islands. So far, she has visited Oahu's North Shore and coral reefs as well as Kauai's beautiful beaches. She loves to collect shells, play with little creatures, make little habitats for them, & ride the ocean waves. She learned to swim when she was six months old! Of Thai decent, Penelope resembles the Disney character "Moana".She 💕 her.
