Start Their Adventure“Trees, beautiful trees, the sun.” - Oliver. If it were up to him, he would never be inside. The bugs, the birds, the animals, the beauty of it. He does everything to learn more about his surroundings in nature. We frequently read books or watch documentaries about nature. Right now he is watching (in person) the growth of caterpillars and their path to turn into butterflies. We have a butterfly garden with plenty of milkweed to release them to.
“Raccoons - they’re cute!” - Oliver. They love crayfish as much as he does! He loves that they also sleep during the winter, just like him. He also loves that they wash their food and rocks!
Oliver loves to be outside and has since he was a baby. He loves identifying different insects and digging for earthworms (he uses them as bait). Oliver also loves to go fishing and learning about all different kinds of fish. He gardens and helps grow our own food and takes care of the flowers. We never go anywhere without stopping and looking for cool rocks for our rock tumbler. We are always on an adventure, he goes camping and river swimming.
