My child is Indigenous, so her connection to the land is so special. She LOVES being outside every chance she gets! Rain or shine!

What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreShe loves our native american traditions connected to nature, saying loving things to plants to help them grow, looking for bugs, learning about environmental conservation and massive weather events, and asking questions about everything she sees! Even more than those, she loves how messy nature can be. She'll always be the first one in the mud, looking for cicadas at the beginning of the summer, or hugging a tree on our way to school.
Nvwoti's favorite animal is, well, all of them and for a million different reasons! She is very interested in science, especially veterinary medicine, so she really just loves caring for animals and spending time with them. Though if she had to pick and nail down a specific reason, she would have to choose dogs because they are very fun to play with and pet!
Nvwoti's favorite outdoor activity is asking questions and then inspecting nature to see if she can find any answers. What kind of bug is that? How old is that tree? And how is limestone created? These are all examples of actual recent questions she's had while spending time outside! She's always looking for new ways to understand the world around her. She also loves to observe bugs and how they go about their days, as well as collecting cool things she finds on our walks.
