Her heart belongs to the forest. Her first hike was a 1/8 forest mile crawl while mommy did trail maint. She plans to live there again.

Learn moreShe says, “It makes me feel happy, and reminds me of when I lived in the mountains.” We live in town now and she misses the mountains and forest. We visit our old forest every so often, and frequent our in-town state park just a few minutes away, as well as other local natural settings. Though they never seem to have quite as many conifers as she prefers. I think the mountains will always be her home.
Dinosaurs. And she likes bluebirds, because they are blue (her favorite color). She loves seeing baby animals in nature and watching the parents care for them.
She say, “Going on nature walks because you get to see nature and animals. I like looking through the binoculars, drawing the things I see, and running my hands through the water to see how it feels.”
