What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn more"I love butterflies and moths because their wings are a little ticklish and they're not poisonous. But monarch butterflies are poisonous to birds. And I like the color of blue jays. Well, the trees shade me and don't make me too hot. When I'm too cold, I get into the sun, and when the shade's not helping I use a hat. I like lizards because them are so ticklish when they get onto your skin. I like all the flowers on the earth. I love hummingbirds--they even eat from flowers. Pretty cool."
"I like all the animals in the world. I don't like poisonous frogs, that's a matter of fact. You wanna know why? Them can kill people--there's blue ones with black dots. Those are poisonous. A turtle is my favorite animal. They're nice and slow. And if they're tiny, I like that."
"All the fun things in the world! Digging, holding caterpillars, grabbing leaves and pretending they're food (but not poisonous leaves! You can't touch them!) and the one more thing I like is spending time with my mom and dad outside. And I love my sisters Hedy and Rosie playing outside with me!"
