Learn moreNolan is nonspeaking and has autism. He is like any other 7 year old. He loves exploring and playing outside. His favorite thing is the woods. Since he was a baby I noticed complete calmness come over him the minute we were outside. He feels a deep connection to the trees and plants. He greets the trees when we visit his favorite local park one by one by placing his hand on the trees and humming to them. He has a warm and gentle touch. He is always singing to them!
Whales. When asked why, he spelled “THEY COMMUNICATE LIKE ME”. They are powerful and strong. Peaceful and mysterious. Much like Nolan!
Any place by the water! The ocean, the lake, and the brook that runs behind our home. He loves to watch the water. He also loves to ride on our stand up paddle board. His balance is amazing! And his favorite thing to watch on Youtube is any olympic sport that involves water (diving, swimming, ski jumping and ice skating). And don’t forget watching his uncle Ryan surf- he is very good and takes great videos!
