Start Their AdventureHe loves being in nature, because it means he might get to see animals. Nolan is especially interested in birds (eagles!) and bears! He also likes insects, and has created a butterfly habitat at home to raise monarch and swallowtail butterflies every summer.
His favorite animal is the chameleon. He likes all lizards, but find the chameleon the most interesting because it can change colors based on it's environment.
Nolan loves to search the backyard for butterfly eggs. Every spring and summer, he looks on the milkweed and parsley plants for butterfly eggs. He then raises the caterpillars in his butterfly habitat and releases them when they come out of their chrysalis and are able to safely fly away.
