What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreNikki's favorite thing about outdoors is all the animals. She gets excited anytime she sees most animals, the few exceptions being certain bugs and spiders. She stops, watches, learns, and analyzes what they're doing and tries to figure out why.
Nikki's favorite animals are cats. It doesn't matter if they're timid house cats or roaring tigers, she loves them all. Out of those, though not a true cat, her absolute favorite are hyenas. She thinks they're simply adorable! When she grows up she wants to have a cat rescue for all cats domestic, feral, and wild.
Nikki has 2 favorite outdoor activities depending on circumstances. If she's with her friends, she loves going on nature walks in the woods. Here at home, she enjoys spending time in the coop with the guinea fowl or walking thru the woods with our 8 outdoor barn cats. It is quite a site to see Nikki walking down our dirt country road with at least 4 cats taking a walk with her.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
