Nathan is an avid explorer. He explores our local trails and parks and tries to learn about our local wildlife. There’s so much to explore.

What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreNathan loves to be outdoor and explore nature. He enjoys the peace and energy that nature brings him. He loves learning about how each animal has a place and purpose. He enjoys learning about their habitat and behaviors. He is fascinated by the magical places nature has to offer and dreams of exploring them. On top of his list are: Aurora Borealis, the dark skies at Big Bend and Great Canyon.
Nathan has admiration and respect for all animals because he understands that they have a purpose in nature. He loves to spend time with dogs because they are fun and always up for adventure. Squirrels and bird are also among his favorite animals because he has managed to earn their trust by feeding them. He loves big cats too tigers being his favorite because they are strong and mysterious. He however own a cat named Smokey who owns his heart.
Nathan loves the outdoors. He enjoys playing baseball and hikes. He loves to sit by the water and see if he can spot snakes or turtles. He loves to go on trail hikes and find insects specially weaver spiders and their creations. He would love to go camping and has so many national parks he’d like to visit starting with Big Bend National Park to see the stars. He has spent years looking for the ever evasive otters and nutria that live in our region but has yet to spot one in the wild.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
