Learn moreNathan loves just being in nature, being in the quiet, watching life. He loves to observe the ants carry crumbs to their anthill, or the fawns frolic in our field, or birds at our feeders or swooping through the sky.
All animals are his favorite. Our cat is probably his favorite because he gets to cuddle her everyday. Anytime there are animals present at a festival or program, he will watch the animals the entire event.
Nathan's favorite outdoor activity is exploring. As soon as he is home from school, he wants to go explore in the woods. He returns with stories about what tracks he found, where the buck rubs are, and how many animals crossed his path. He looks forward to hunting for morel mushrooms, wild black raspberries, mint, and ramps.
