What does Natalie love most about nature?

Natalie says she loves how amazing nature is and how it is not man made. She likes how different things can be in nature and how it is always surprising you. She thinks it’s cool how nature defends itself against the elements and predators and how it adapts to change. Nature can be exciting and calming, beautiful and not so pretty. She says she feels happiest when she is outside and playing in the woods. She loves to learn, explore, and is passionate about animals, their welfare and their homes

What is Natalie's favorite animal—and why?

The red panda has earned the title of Natalie’s favorite animal since she was two years old. She has learned all she can about them, can tell you facts about them, has several stuffed animals of them in her collection. When we go to the zoo we always make a point to see them. We have been trying to sign her up for a red panda encounter so she can have an up close experience with them, the zoos that have this encounter are far away and the sign up fills up very quickly. We hope to get in for 2026

What is Natalie's favorite outdoor activity?

Natalie’s favorite outdoor activity is making nature puppets and fairy gardens. She loves to collect leaves acorns dandelions sticks and flowers and she crafts animals and dolls with them. She loves to draw and her favorite is to draw animals. She will sit outside and try to draw what she sees . She loves to write stories too and will sit outside to write them if she can. She helps us with the garden, enjoys swimming in the lake at her grandparents , fishing, and hunts in the fall with her dad.
