What does Merida love most about nature?

Merida has a deep love for planet Earth and everything that grows, crawls, and blooms on it. She spends her days outside, exploring every corner of her grandmother’s garden, turning over rocks to find worms, listening to birdsong in the trees, and running barefoot through the grass. She collects smooth stones and colorful leaves, builds forts from sticks and branches, and watches ants march in perfect lines.

What is Merida's favorite animal—and why?

Merida’s favorite animal are fishies, because they come in all different shapes, sizes, and colors that are pretty cool.

What is Merida's favorite outdoor activity?

Merida loves getting her hands dirty—splashing in water, tromping through mud, building fairy gardens, and collecting eggs from her grandmother’s chicken coop. But what she enjoys most is working in the garden: watering plants, digging in the soil, and watching all kinds of flowers grow and bloom before her eyes.
