What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreMeadhran has long been fascinated by the natural world, with a particular love for geology. Discovering how rocks and landscapes form sparked an early passion that has only grown over time. This curiosity soon extended to meteorology, especially in understanding how natural disasters like earthquakes, tornadoes, and hurricanes occur. The science behind these powerful forces of nature inspired Meadhran to dive deeper into weather patterns and climate systems; to one day be a storm chaser.
Meadhran’s favorite animal is the hippopotamus, partly because of their unexpectedly adorable features—like their round faces, tiny ears, and the way they waddle into the water. But beyond their cuteness, hippos are also massive and powerful animals. Their strength and dominance in the wild make them fascinating to Meadhran, who admires how such a seemingly gentle creature can command so much respect. He calls them, "invincible".
Meadhran’s favorite outdoor activity is exploring nature to find interesting rocks and minerals. He especially enjoys camping trips, where he can spend quality time with family in peaceful natural settings. He finds it even more relaxing when there are nearby streams, rivers, or lakes—the sound of flowing water adds to the experience and makes the outdoors feel even more special.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
