Matthew's been learning about animals his whole life. He loves being outside for any activity and camps every chance he gets.

Matthew's favorite thing about nature is the abundance and diversity of plants and animals to be found in one place as opposed to another. Even in places that are only 30 minutes away from each other could have completely different animals and plants living there.
Matthew says his favorite animal is the tiger because they are strong and smart. And for such a large animal with apparently obvious markings, they operate in stealth mode, able to easily camouflage themselves and sneak up on their prey.
Matthew's favorite outdoor activity is camping because it gives him the time and access to all the other outdoor things he loves to do! Swimming, hiking, and enjoying nature itself are all high on his list of fun. Each new campsite offers something different in the way of wildlife, and natural structures. If mom and dad would let him live in a tent in the backyard, he would totally do it!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
