From the most general of facts, to the most intricate of details; Mateo (or, as he prefers, Teo) wants to know it all! Our boy has a thirst for knowledge like I’ve never seen before. There’s not a moment where his mind isn’t pondering some bizarre nature fact- in fact, his favorite way to pass time in the car is a game he made up called “The Animal Guessing Game”. Where he gives hints and you guess the animal!
He says, “I love axolotls because of how they look, how many colors they come in, and how they can regenerate different parts of their body.”
“My favorite thing to do, is to make habitats for different animals and creatures. At my school, I have even been saving tadpoles from a drying creek!”
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
