What does Mason love most about nature?

He’s especially fascinated by the many colors found in the natural world. As a homeschooler, he gets plenty of time to explore outdoors, which fuels his passion for learning. Over the past six weeks we have been in Florida. He’s visited multiple aquariums, explored beaches, and researched the shells and sea creatures he found. Mason is always asking how things are made and why they look the way they do.

What is Mason's favorite animal—and why?

Mason’s favorite animal is the shark because he’s fascinated by their unique coloring and sleek appearance. He loves how mysterious they are, often hiding in the deep ocean and moving so silently. Their power and grace in the water amaze him, and he enjoys learning about the many different species. Sharks spark his curiosity and imagination.

What is Mason's favorite outdoor activity?

Mason loves fishing because it gives him special time with his dad and a chance to enjoy the peace of nature. He’s an early riser and loves heading out in the morning when the world is quiet and more animals are active. While waiting for a bite, he enjoys observing birds, insects, and the water around him. Fishing is not just about catching fish—it’s about slowing down, being present, and soaking in the beauty and calm of the outdoors with someone he loves.
