He says "nature is everywhere around us!" He loves that he can find dirt, acorns, worms, ants, snails, frogs, snakes, leaves, and more anywhere we happen to be.
He says "I only like the roughest and TOUGHEST animals the best! I think porcupines are my favorite!" He likes that they have spikes to protect themselves, and that their tail is full of spikes too. He says if they weren’t so spiky, he thinks they'd be really snuggly (but we won't test that theory!) We haven't seen one in real life outside of the zoo, but maybe one day we will spot one!
"Camping, because we get to go fishing and kayaking and sleep outside." He honestly loves everything outdoorsy though, from playing in our backyard and working in the garden, to hiking and exploring at the creek, to learning about animals and native plants at the Zoo, parks, and nature centers. He especially loves anywhere with water though, whether it's the beach, a lake, creek, river or simply a pool, splashpad or puddle. Water and the myriad of creatures around it are always a win with him!
