Receive Text UpdatesMarlowe says he never gets bored. We can do so many things when we get outside whether it is going for a hike and showing him a new plant to forage (can you say ramps?!). Marlowe can spend hours by a creek building stone fairy houses and decorating them with flowers and found natural materials. He will create lengthy narratives as he plays the builder and protector. We love log rolling and finding new to us creatures and plants. The outdoors present a new adventure every time.
Marlowe LOVES the Komodo dragon; in fact he says he can see so well because he is half Komodo dragon in real life!! It fascinates him that a “dragon” can still exist. We often talk about how our chickens and birds descended from dinosaurs and “dragons”. Marlowe believes in the fantastic and it’s beautiful.
Taking his digital microscope along so that he can see all the things most people miss!! It’s so exciting for Marlowe to be able to take a closer look at the world around us, because it makes it seem so much bigger. A lot of us feel closed in and our mind suffers for that, Marlowe loves to expand his world any way he can! A love for nature means an open mind.
