Learn more“I just love the Earth and everything it gives us,” Maisie said with a smile. Every day, she explores the world around her, learning about animals and insects through her microscope. This Earth Day, Maisie had a special request: she wanted supplies to make her own yard sign reminding everyone not to leave trash on the ground. With her creativity and care for the planet, Maisie is doing her part to help protect our Earth. 🌎🌱
“Hedgehogs—because they are sweet, and when you’re gentle with animals and take care of them, they don’t even spike or bite you,” Maisie explained. This year, she’s had the joy of helping care for her class pet, a hedgehog named Nibbles. Maisie’s love for animals doesn’t stop there—her favorite creatures to visit at the aquarium are jellyfish! She adores them so much that a kind friend from school even crocheted her a jellyfish for her birthday. 🦔🪼
“Swimming in the ocean and finding new shells and sea glass,” Maisie said when asked what her favorite thing to do outdoors is! This year, she had an exciting adventure exploring new countries like Saint Kitts, Dominica, Saint Lucia, and more. At every stop, she couldn’t wait to visit the beach, where she discovered shells, colorful fish, and all kinds of fascinating wildlife. 🏖️☀️
