“My favorite animal is the one most people do not like…the skunk.Since I want to be a scientist when I grow up, I want to study the stink & learn how to protect us from it.I would like to study more about them & see them in the wild.Nocturnal animals fascinate me & I would like to set up a night camera in my backyard.A skunk is a living creature & we should appreciate smelly things.If a person is smelly, we should treat them well & not shoo them away.Maybe we could learn to appreciate them."
“Playing in & around my hammock is my favorite outdoor activity.I like to see what is living in the trees, watch the seasons change, breathe the fresh air,write & read nature stories,listen to birds, & watch & observe pollinators.I like to get close to the birds on my lawn.I like to lay in my hammock & watch the clouds.I use my imagination to create creatures & stories.I’ve never got up early enough to see the sun rise but I enjoy watching all the different colors of the sunset from my hammock."
