Learn moreMacie loves getting out in nature and enjoying time with her family. We all enjoy that time together just talking and taking in the beautiful surroundings. Macie favorite thing to do is to keep track of all the wild life we see. She looks for tracks and signs of wild life wherever we go. Her goal is to one day to see a river otter in the wild but that hasn’t happened yet. We now live in a more tropical area so on hikes we take time to learn about any new insects or plant that we come across.
Macie is crazy about two types of animals, she can’t just pick one. Domestically it’s a cat, she is crazy about cats. She loves cats because they are cute and cuddly. For a wild animal she loves otters. She thinks they are so playful and loves that they swim just like her. She loves watching otters play with each other and how they use tools like rocks to help open up shells for food. She also thinks they are very cute and cuddly, wet but cuddly.
Macie’s favorite outdoor activity other than walking would have to be swimming. We Joke that Macie is part fish she loves the water. It doesn’t matter if it’s a pool, lake, creek or ocean she is in the water.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
