Snakes are her favorite animal because they’re fascinating and often misunderstood. She loves how they move without legs and use their tongues to sense the world. She enjoys learning the difference between venomous and nonvenomous snakes and thinks each kind is important to nature. The more she learns about them, the more she wants to protect them and help others see how special they really are
Luna’s favorite outdoor activity is herping—searching for reptiles and amphibians in the wild. She loves exploring creeks and forests to find frogs, snakes, and salamanders. With a careful eye and a love for nature, Luna enjoys every adventure and the excitement of each new discovery.
