He loves digging in the dirt to uncover hidden bugs and spending hours bonding with his new “tiny friends.” He gives them names, watches them move, and makes sure they’re safe—it’s not just play, it’s his way of showing love and respect for nature’s smallest wonders. We are also in monarch mode, we manage the catapillars, moving them from bare milkweed to fuller milkweed so they don’t have to travel. We do this daily, then move them to our terrarium when they are ready to pupate so they are safe
