One of his favorite places is Busch Gardens, where he not only enjoys seeing the animals but can name most of them and share fascinating facts about them. His passion extends to plants as well, he cares for a snake plant in his room and is growing a lemon, pepper, and eggplant at his grandmother’s house. Whether he’s in a garden, at the zoo, or simply exploring the outdoors, nothing brings Lukas more joy than being outside and surrounded by the natural world.
Lukas is an expert on many animals, but frogs are his favorite. He loves how they can live in both water and on land, and how important they are to the environment. He can identify different frog species, including which ones are poisonous, and he’s just as knowledgeable about many other animals. Some frogs even visit his back door, and he’s named two of them Froglig and Froglog.
We are very lucky to live in Tampa, and Lukas’s favorite outdoor activity is visiting Busch Gardens with his little sister Kora. He loves seeing the animals up close, especially when he gets lucky enough to watch the gorillas being evaluated. He asks thoughtful questions and soaks up facts. He recently learned new things about alligators. He loves to ride the train, where animals roam freely, he especially loves when the ostriches run alongside it. For Lukas, every visit is a new adventure.
