What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreHe loves how nature allows him to be free to be creative and learn new things. He loves getting dirty out in nature. He is fascinated by plants, animals, the weather, water, fire, rocks and soil and how they all interact with each other to sustain us and all life on earth. He would rather be outdoors than indoors any day. He loves to ask questions and like a little scientist to find out the answers.
His favorite animal is a tiger. When he was younger, he would tell people that he was born a tiger. He would pretend he was a tiger. He can relate to its stealth and he admires it's strength. He likes cats in general, but a tiger is the cat of all cats, to him. Also, it is his school mascot. Whenever, he gets his face painted, he wants it painted like a tiger. In his second year of Scouts of America (BSA), he was a tiger cub scout and he went around proudly telling everyone he was.
Lueken loves all aspects of camping. He loves to help build and maintain a fire. He likes cooking food and smores over the fire. He especially likes exploring trails and caves. He likes doing all extra activities that go along with camping like fishing, horseback riding, kayaking, and swimming. He has enjoying looking at the stars under an open and un-light polluted sky. When we have camped at National Parks, he enjoys completing the National Junior Ranger program with his sister and me.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
