What does Lucas love most about nature?

My son loves all there is about nature. The plants, trees, animals. Nature is vital for the ecosystem. Nature makes my son feel good, happy, calm and excited at the same time. There is so much to explore and create. Nature allows his imagination to run wild!

What is Lucas's favorite animal—and why?

It’s difficult to narrow down to just one. My son loves all animals and insects. It actually varies week to week. At one point it was beluga whales. They are smart and social. Then it was dolphins. He loves how they interact and communicate with each other. Next it was the street cats we started feeding. He ended up naming them. One cat even follows my son when he walks.

What is Lucas's favorite outdoor activity?

Exploring and imagining he’s on a safari. Our lizards are dinosaurs and he loves to hunt dinosaurs. He loves taking pictures of outdoor animals up close and he created his Nature scrapbook where he writes about his exploring of different animals and insects. He loves to birdwatch and is amazed at some of their beautiful colors.
