Receive Text UpdatesLucas loves nature because he “gets to see all sorts of different creatures!” He loves learning about the animals and plants around us. We take walks in the forest near by and look for interesting plants, animals and bugs! His favorite summer activity is going to the pond and searching for frogs and tadpoles!
It’s hard for Lucas to pick just one animal, he loves blue whales because they’re so big and turtles because they have a really cool shell to protect themselves with, and of course the cheetah because they’re so fast! Our latest animal obsession is learning about the Komodo Dragon. He loves reading about how they eat and we even got to see one at the aquarium in Virginia last month!
Lucas’ favorite thing to do outside is going to the pond! When we go we look for frogs and tadpoles. He learned a lot about their life cycle at summer camp last year. We bring our big net and try to catch the frogs to take a closer look at them, but we always release them after we look!
