Start Their AdventureWhat Luca loves most about nature is how it settles his spirit. He’s an energetic kid, but in the woods or on the water, he’s calm and content. With walking stick in hand, he daydreams, whistles the Andy Griffith theme, and takes it all in. Nature makes him feel at home in a way nothing else does. It’s where he’s happiest, most himself, and totally at peace. He makes it his mission to protect nature, respect the land, and the animals that call it home.
Luca has a profound bond with animals. From the pure, innocent joy that sweeps over him as he sits still to let the lady bugs crawl and completely cover him from head to toe, to the admiration of a pair of dedicated, nesting Canadian geese. But is favorite animal is the bear.They wander through his mountain town like they own the place.. calm, cool and sometimes silly. He even brings his teddy bear Ted on all his adventures because every explorer needs a trusty sidekick.
Luca’s favorite activity is anything in the mountains, especially his favorite White Pines Lake. He loves fishing in his rowboat, sledding down snowy hills, or swimming on warm summer days. He spends hours wandering off old logging trails, building forts, exploring the forest, and sharpening his outdoor skills. Nature is where he feels most like himself…grounded, free, and connected.
