Start Their AdventureLogan loves how peaceful nature is. He enjoys being social and the chaos of being an active 8 year old but even more than that he loves to get those hands dirty. From turning over rocks to sitting quietly watching trees sway in the breeze to spotting an animal, he loves it all.
Since Logan was 3 he has been obsessed with turtles. He does not have a favorite type because he loves them all. It makes him the most sad seeing turtles hurt due to human interaction. Every time we visit a rehab center he wants to learn about how the animals got hurt, not due to curiosity but as a learning experience so he can make sure he doesn’t repeat history and can be a better human.
Logan loves to hike and fossil hunt. When we hike somewhere new he’s always walking or running ahead so he can experience any encounters before we catch up and scare something away. He always tries to convince me to find a new hiking spot wherever we go even if it means a doctors visit somewhere out of our normal area. Once this kid is old enough to drive, I’m afraid I’ll never see him enough.
