What does Logan love most about nature?

Logan says that nature has cool animals. He likes going to ponds where he gets to see baby ducks. He likes learning about caterpillars turning to butterflies. One of his favorite things is watching the birds and squirrels in our yard eating from the feeders and learning that trees grow because squirrel forget where they put their nuts. And sometimes he gets to see cool spiders and bugs! Since he was very young he has helped with his dogs, cats, and horses. He’s a hard working kid.

What is Logan's favorite animal—and why?

Logan’s favorite animal is a rhinoceros. He thinks they are really cool because they have horns and very strong skin. He also likes them because he has had the opportunity at our local zoo to feed the rhinos on multiple occasions. Logan’s was surprised that they eat lettuce and was happy that they were so gentle and nice.

What is Logan's favorite outdoor activity?

Going to the zoo! He loves looking at ALL of the animals. Every time we go it is for the entire day. He has gotten to feed penguins, rhinos and giraffes. We never miss out on the bug house, monkeys, safari, reptiles, birds, all of it. One day he wishes to feed an elephant! Logan can not wait for summer break because that is when we get to go to the zoo a lot.
