Lincoln is disabled but he doesn’t let that stop him from adventuring! He is very curious about his surroundings and he adores the outdoors!
Thank you for generously supporting Lincoln in this year’s competition. Your participation helps empower the National Wildlife Federation in their mission to protect wildlife, restore habitats, and inspire the next generation of conservationists.
Lincoln is non-verbal, but he has many gestures to indicate what he wants - outside is top of that list. I believe that he enjoys the fresh air, and the freedom to explore.
There is one word that Lincoln has used since I can remember - doggie! He is genuinely fascinated by animals in general, though. He especially enjoys animal sounds, such as from a Lion or Elephant!
Lincoln suffers from severe spasticity in his legs, which limits his ability to walk. When he is outside exploring, he walks/runs/climbs without a care in the world. It’s his happy place. He enjoys new sounds and textures. Playing in the water or the sand is one of his favorite activities!
