Learn moreWhen I asked Lincoln this he said "I love everything about nature mama". I replied that he probably didn't like mosquito bites & he then started explaining how important mosquitos are to the food chain, how they lay their eggs & that only the females bite. Lincoln understands how everything in nature is connected & relies on each other. It helps ground him to something bigger than himself, which I think is what he loves most of all.
Sting rays are the current favorite, as he got to swim along wild ones in the Carribean. He also loves spending time with them at the Sting Ray Beach at our local zoo. He thinks it's awesome how they can suck up food from the ocean floor & are cartilaginous fish just like sharks.
Lincoln loves fishing. Understanding a fish's habitat & diet so that you have the best chance of catching it is part of the fun for him. In our family fishing also means watching birds, looking for frogs & turtles, as well as paddling in the canoe. Catching & identifying the fish is, of course, the exciting part and then we watch it swim away.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
