Lincoln says he loves everything about nature and how happy it makes him feel. He loves animals more than anything in the world! He always has animals on his mind and really enjoys learning about all of their amazing adaptations and natural histories. He loves being outside and exploring.
He has a lot of favorite animals! Aye ayes are one of his favorites because “they tap, tap, tap on trees to find bugs”. Cheetahs and Peregrine falcons are two of his favorites because they are so fast. He loves honey badgers because they are tough and have a stinky defense! He loves bats and opossums because they are awesome. King cobras are his favorite snake because they are the longest venomous snake in the world. He also says he loves every single animal that is in the wild!
Lincoln’s favorite outdoor activity is going on creature walks, where we walk around looking for creatures under logs, on flowers, in the grass and in the sky. We recently found salamanders on a hike in the woods and it was his favorite creature walk we have done. He likes to look for worms to save from the sidewalk and wants to plant milkweed for the Monarch butterflies. He also loves going to the Cincinnati Zoo!
