What she loves most about nature has to be the animals! From discovering different species in our local forest, improving their habitat, by cleaning trash, or rescuing hurt/ injured animals by contacting our local wildlife rehabilitation center! Everything from exploring tide pools, hiking sanctuaries, or just spending the day in the back yard. Lillian has spend countless hours reading and researching to getting hands on with educators!
Lillian’s favorite animal, hands down, has to be the opossum! What’s not to love? They are North America’s only marsupial, they are greatly beneficial to our ecosystem, and not to mention, they are adorable!!
Exploring the wood here in Maine! From river banks to vernal pools the opportunities are endless!! A short hike on a trail can quickly turn into an all day exploration!
