The wind will cool you off after a day in the woods. There is always more to explore. It can also be a space to get feelings out from skipping rocks to writing a poem. Nature will always be there for you. (Lillian wrote this)
My favorite animal is probably a yellow-rumped warbler. We used to go to the bus stop in the morning and we would hear it calling on Merlin. I think it is very unique because on some of them the yellow is in other places than their tail/rump. It can be on their belly, face, and rump. Their size varies too and they are cute. They are very interesting and fun to learn about. This is why my favorite animal is the yellow-rumped warbler. (Lillian wrote this)
To play in rivers and skip rocks with friends and just overall having a good time outdoors. My best friend has a creek behind her house that we like to play in and look for fish and turtles. My mom is a fish biologist and I like to help her in the field when I can, too. She lets me use the gravelometer to measure the rocks for her. (Lillian wrote this)
