Liam loves being outside and being active. He’s always outside doing something!
Thank you for generously supporting Liam in this year’s competition. Your participation helps empower the National Wildlife Federation in their mission to protect wildlife, restore habitats, and inspire the next generation of conservationists.
Ha, he says he loves all of it. He loves seeing wildlife like the lizards that do pushups on our walls or the birds that chirp in our trees. He went through a phase where he would shout with excitement every time he saw the moon, day or night, and sometimes still does that. He enjoys finding pretty flowers or interesting looking plants, and he especially loves seeing new animals.
When his dad asked, Liam said coyotes, but that was the first time he’d ever said that. He really likes snakes, elephants, anteaters, monkeys, various big cats, and penguins. I think penguins are his favorite because of the documentary “Penguins” about Steve, the Adélie penguin.
Liam likes to play and explore. We just went camping for the first time, and he loved exploring the wilderness around us. But his favorite thing right now is riding his bike. It’s something he recently learned how to do without training wheels, and not only does he get to be outside, but he gets to move around fast! I think it still also provides a sense of pride that he learned how to do it and is doing it by himself. He gets so excited whenever he does something new on his bike.
