What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreShe is her happiest and best self when she is outside. She said, "nature is just beautiful and there is always an adventure. You never know what you're going to find."
She likes all animals in the feline family, large and small. They're excellent hunters, intelligent, agile, and obviously beautiful. All cats, even domestic ones, retain their wildness and we need to earn their trust. Cats live all over the world and are able to survive in all kinds of situations.
She said very confidently, "hiking." It's relaxing. Her happy place. There are lots of trees and no factories. You can hear the birds, frogs, and other animals. She's always stopping to check out what's under a long, up a tree, in a marsh, and inside hollows in trees and logs. We always stop at the nature centers at state park trail heads to check out examples of what we might see on our hike.
