Receive Text UpdatesEven during the hardest days—after being diagnosed with a brain tumor at just 2.5—nature gave Leo freedom, joy, and healing. It became his refuge. Nothing makes him happier than digging in the dirt, wading through ponds, and turning over rocks in search of forest friends. Covered in mud and full of wonder, he’s his truest self outside.
Leo loves reptiles and amphibians—especially frogs and snakes! He’s always finding “frog friends” in the yard, but his proudest moment? Discovering a garter snake and letting it wrap around his hand… then bringing it into the house before (thankfully) setting it free. Mom was MUCH less thrilled than he was.
Leo loves everything outdoors—hiking, swimming, digging—but joining a wilderness school lit a special spark. Surrounded by mentors and friends who shared his love for nature, he felt right at home. There’s nothing better than watching your child come alive in the wild.
