Layla loves nature—especially the creepy crawly ones! She also raises and releases Monarchs each summer. She’s ready to be a Jr. Ranger!

Layla absolutely loves all animals—bugs, birds, everything. She loves being outside, soaking up the sun, and surrounded by all things green. Nature just makes her happy. She’s always exploring, asking questions, and noticing the little things. Raising and releasing Monarchs every summer has been one of her favorite things to do. It’s amazing to watch her connect with the world around her.
Lately Layla’s favorite animal is the bear—all bears! She thinks they’re amazing because they’re big, strong, and kind of mysterious. Plus, her favorite uncle loves bears too, so they’ve become extra special to her.
Layla’s favorite outdoor activity is swimming! She loves being in the water—whether it’s a pool, a lake, or splashing in the streams around Vermont. It’s her happy place and one of her favorite ways to enjoy the outdoors.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
