Receive Text UpdatesAs a military child, I travel to many different states and visit many new places. This opportunity to travel has created an interest in me in exploring nature. My favorite is exploring the outdoors in the woods and local creeks. I have found many critters while exploring, such as a black centipede, an ant farm, wolf spider, snakes, toads with babies, a lizard hiding in a fallen tree, and a salamander in our backyard. Nature is beautiful and part of God’s creation. I want to protect nature, too!
My favorite animal is the tiger because it is the largest cat in the world and a top predator in the food chain in Asia. They are endangered due to their forests being cut down and because people hunt them for their beautiful fur. I have an interest in wanting to help save tigers so that we can enjoy viewing them in Zoos and continue to study and learn about them. When I am older, I want to study animals and explore the world, or be a wild animal Veterinarian!
My favorite outdoor activity is hiking and exploring new places like creeks and trails. I like flipping over rocks and landscapes to find critters. My mom got me a bug viewing kit with a microscope to view the critters up close. It is very interesting to learn about critters while exploring outdoors. After it rains, I like to look for salamanders under the rocks. My siblings and I like to create a habitat for the salamander to study in our backyard. I want to continue exploring outdoors!
